Solvent-borne Armadillo paint dries quickly, providing better durability than ordinary fast-dry paint. Performs well on all types of pavement, resistant to blistering, and easy to spray.

Armadillo Paint is perfect for striping parking lots, crosswalks, streets, warehouse floors, and more. You can rely heavily on Armadillo paint in areas with heavy foot and vehicle traffic to produce crisp, clear, and clean lines. Want to increase visibility and reflectivity? Mix with glass beads for added enhancement.

How to Use

At 77°F and 15 mils wet film thickness, Armadillo Paint will dry to “no track” in approximately 5 minutes. Allow paint to dry for a full two hours before exposing to any traffic. Armadillo Paint should only be used on pavement that is at least 30 days old, applying to freshly sealed surfaces may not adhere properly.

Prior to applying, clear the area of dirt and debris using a standard leaf blower. Power washing or surface abrasion may be required if the pavement is stained with large amounts of engine oil or previously coated with an epoxy. Loose or peeling paint should also be removed prior to applying.

Armadillo Paint should not be applied in temperatures below 50°F and/or less than six hours before rain or other precipitation is expected; this allows for accurate estimated drying time of two hours.  The manufacturer also advises against applying Armadillo Paint at night due to lower temperatures and natural condensation.

Prior to use, this paint should be thoroughly stirred and mixed. Please dispose of any excess paint and empty containers in a safe, environmentally friendly manner.
