This full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role is based in Charlotte, NC. The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners, and expanding market presence for Trantex’s traffic control and safety products. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting sales presentations and product demonstrations, preparing proposals and quotes, and negotiating contracts. The role also involves collaborating with operations, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure a smooth sales process, accurate order fulfillment, and high customer satisfaction. The Business Development Manager monitors market trends and competitor activity, provides feedback to leadership on growth opportunities, and maintains accurate records of activities and results in CRM systems.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in sales, business development, and account management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong relationship-building, customer service, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to establish trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Solid communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, including the ability to explain technical products and solutions clearly.
  • Experience with pipeline management, CRM tools, and basic data analysis to forecast, report, and optimize sales performance.
  • Understanding of construction, transportation, or traffic safety industries is highly beneficial; familiarity with traffic control products or signage is a plus.
  • Ability to work on-site, travel locally for client visits, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple opportunities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented professional with a collaborative approach and commitment to ethical, inclusive business practices.

 

Trantex is seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining warehouse operations, preparing customer orders, managing inventory, and delivering products safely and efficiently to customers. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, customer-focused, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment or delivery.
  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
  • Deliver products to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
  • Verify delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures when required.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous warehouse and delivery experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience or certification preferred (training available).
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills are a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying.
  • Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and delivery vehicles.
