When it comes to pavement marking, Gorilla Paint by Aexcel is the toughest stuff around!

Gorilla Paint is our toughest zone-marking paint. This durable acrylic copolymer paint lasts longer and stays cleaner. Solvent-borne Gorilla paint dries quickly and provides better durability than ordinary fast-dry paint. Performs well on all types of pavement, easy to clean up and available in all colors.

Gorilla Paint is ideal for striping crosswalks, parking lots, streets, warehouses, and more. You can rely on gorilla paint for crisp, clear, and clean lines, even in areas with heavy foot and vehicular traffic. Gorilla Paint can also be mixed with glass beads to increase the visibility and reflectivity of your newly-applied markings. With its wide range of colors and fast-drying capabilities, Gorilla Paint is the perfect addition to any pavement marking project!

Gorilla Paint comes in 5 gallon pails and can also be purchased in 120 gallon pallets.

How to Use

At 77°F and 15 mils wet film thickness, Gorilla Paint will dry in approximately 5 minutes. For best results, allow paint to dry for a full two hours before exposing to traffic. Gorilla Paint should only be used on pavement that is at least 30 days old, as paint applied to freshly sealed surfaces may not adhere properly.

Prior to application, clear the area to be painted of dirt and debris using a standard leaf blower. Power washing or surface abrasion may be necessary if the pavement is stained with large amounts of engine oil or has already been coated with epoxy. Loose or peeling paint should also be removed prior to application of fresh markings.

Gorilla Paint should not be applied in temperatures below 50°F and/or less than six hours before rain or other precipitation is expected in the area; this recommendation is based to the likelihood of substantially increased drying time. The manufacturer also advises against applying Gorilla Paint at night due to naturally-occurring lower temperatures and condensation.

Paint should be thoroughly stirred and mixed prior to usage. Please dispose of any excess paint and empty containers in a safe, environmentally-friendly manner.
