Glass Beads – E-16 Type 4

Description

Reflectorized pavement marking lines make a significant contribution to highway safety, especially in conditions of poor visibility at night and in wet weather.

In rain, fog or melting snow, large glass beads stand higher, making them more visible above the surface of the line than conventional beads. They overcome the limitations of conventional highway safety marking spheres to clearly delineate highway markings and provide superior wet-night visibility.

VISIBEAD and VISIBEAD Plus II Highway Safety Marking Spheres are manufactured in a proprietary process that creates glass marking spheres that are three to four times the diameter of conventional highway safety marking spheres.

VISIBEAD Highway Safety Marking Spheres can be applied as drop-on spheres in all commercial applications—water-borne paint, epoxy, polyester, thermoplastic, PMMA, polyurethane, polyurea and VOC-compliant paints.

Average application rate of glass beads is 6 lbs. per 1 gallon of paint.
