Why the Vectorial® System?

The Vectorial® system transforms urban space and improves accessibility quickly, simply, and reversibly.

It resolves the conflict between cycle lanes and bus stops where the two overlap, allows for the construction of sidewalks or widening of existing sidewalks, and improves the accessibility of bus stops when they are in a vehicle parking area.

Vectorial® Configurations

PLATFORM AS AN EXTENSION OF THE SIDEWALK.

A platform as a curb extension aligns the bus stop with the parking lane. Platforms as curb extensions allow buses to stop without making big sideways movements.

PLATFORM WITH INTEGRATED CYCLE LANE.

Platforms with integrated cycle lanes allow bike lane users to safely cross the passenger boarding area when there are no buses at the stop, although bus users will have priority.

PLATFORM WITH ACCESS BRIDGE AND INTEGRATED CYCLE PATH.

Allows users of the cycle lane to ride behind bus stops. This reduces conflicts between them and buses, and, at the same time, creates a safe waiting area for bus users.

PLATFORM WITH ISLAND CONFIGURATION.

This helps to optimize the bus service and improves the accessibility of the bus stop. This configuration eliminates conflicts between buses and cycle lane users. It is the recommended configuration when the space occupied by the bus stop is not attached to the sidewalk.

The curbs distribute impacts by bus tires to the entire platform and ensure the stability of the platform. Each curb has a large longitudinal retroreflective strip that makes it visible day and night.
