The SafetyRail™ ADA-Compliant Pedestrian Barricade is designed to create accessible pedestrian pathways around construction zones, sidewalk closures, and other temporary traffic control areas. Its continuous interlocking design provides clear and detectable guidance for pedestrians, including individuals with visual impairments. It meets ADA guidelines and MUTCD standards for use as a sidewalk closure barricade or longitudinal channelizer device.

The barricade features a smooth hand-trailing upper rail and a ground-hugging lower rail that helps guide cane users while reducing the potential for trapped cane tips. The common vertical plane design eliminates obstacles within the pedestrian pathway, helping maintain a safer and more accessible route through work zones.

Constructed from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with UV stabilizers, SafetyRail is lightweight, durable, and designed for repeated use. The system assembles without tools and can be stacked, transported, and deployed quickly in the field. It can also accommodate warning lights and audible information devices when additional pedestrian guidance is required.
