It’s official, folks! Transline is headed to the 2019 IMSA Forum & Expo. We will be located at booth #406.
The International Municipal Signal Association—or IMSA, as it’s more commonly known—can trace its roots all the way back to 1896. Since its induction, the organization has sought to set standards and offer certifications for the “installation, operation, and maintenance of public safety systems.” They also keep members up-to-date on the latest technology (and trends) in the industry.
For the last few years, the IMSA Forum & Expo has been a great place for those in the traffic control ‘biz to learn, network, and showcase their products. The 2019 Expo is scheduled to be be held in New Orleans, Louisiana at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans hotel. The event will run from August 18th through the 22nd.
According to the IMSA Forum & Expo’s website, the 2019 gathering is set to feature over 50 hours of educational technical sessions, more than 75 exhibitors, innovative product demos, and in-demand IMSA certification seminars. Eric I. Kalivoda, the Deputy Secretary of the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development will serve as the event’s keynote speaker, and comedian-ventriloquist Marc Rubben is slated to provide hilarious entertainment at the final evening banquet and reception on the 22nd.
This year, Transline will have located at booth #406 in the Expo Hall, where representatives from our company will be talking about our products and answering questions from expo guests and visitors. If you’re planning to be at the convention, please feel free to stop by and say hello and see for yourself the quality and craftsmanship that goes into all of our products and equipment, and enter our giveaway for a chance to win a JBL Charge 3 Portable Bluetooth Speaker. We hope to see you there!
