Catch (and direct) the eyes of motorists with our W16-7P Traffic Signs!

W16-7P signs are designed to be paired with W11-2 Pedestrian signs. While the W11-2 signs alert drivers to be mindful of pedestrians crossing the road, W16-7P takes this warning one step beyond by pointing out the actual crossing point. Our traffic signs are available in three standard sizes: 24 inches x 12 inches, 36 inches x 18 inches, and 48 inches x 24 inches.

Please note that W16-7P signs are NOT reversible. W16-7PR specifically refers to signs featuring a downward diagonal right arrow, while W16-7PL specifically refers to signs featuring a downward diagonal left arrow. Please verify which sign you will need prior to placing your order. Our full selection of road signs can be viewed by browsing our product catalog. For information about ordering custom-designed signs (including standard signs in non-standard sizes), contact a Transline representative.

HOW TO USE

According to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), a W16-7P sign should be used with a W11-2 sign when the W11-2 sign is posted at the crossing point. They should NOT be used when the W11-2 sign is mounted overhead. The W16-7P sign should NEVER obscure the W11-2 sign!

Always check relevant local laws and ordinances prior to purchasing and installing traffic signs. Specific signs may legally require a minimum reflectivity of “high intensity” or greater.
Freestanding sign posts (as well as installation hardware) are all sold separately. Our selection of sign posts can be viewed in our product catalog’s ‘Traffic Sign Hardware’ section
