Product Description

When it comes to creating temporary lines on paved surfaces, it doesn’t get much simpler than our pavement marking tape!

Foil backed pavement tape by Transline is vibrant and reflective, making it highly visible on roadways, sidewalks, parking lots, and more. Unlike paint or thermoplastic, tape doesn’t require any expensive tools or special training to install. Simply unroll the tape, cut a piece in the desired length, peel away the foil backing, and then apply the tape to your desired surface. This product’s special, non-skid adhesive will hold fast to roadway surfaces, even in the face of inclement weather conditions. And when your job is finished, the tape will peel off with relative ease, leaving no residue behind. It’s truly an eco-friendly option!

How to Use

To ensure clean lines, use heavy-duty scissors or a blade to cut the tape—do not attempt to tear or “twist” it off of the roll. Pavement marking tape should be installed on clean, dry surfaces, so clear the area of dirt and debris prior to application. Sandblasting or grinding may be necessary to remove oil stains and existing markings. It is not necessary to tamp the tape down once it is installed, but doing so can help ensure a firm hold and discourage lifting. There is no need to wait for the tape to “dry” or “set;” markings can be exposed to foot and vehicular traffic immediately after installation.

Please note that this tape is designed for temporary or semi-permanent use; applying sealer on top of the tape following (proper) installation can help promote a longer lifespan. This tape is ideal for creating straight lines but may buckle or wrinkle if it is used to make curved lines. We recommend utilizing several small pieces of tape to create curves rather than trying to “bend” a single strip.
